Eltrice Creations LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Bert's PlantSense mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Process

• Plant photos. When you take or select a photo to identify a plant, that image is sent to our servers and to our AI processing provider solely to analyze the plant and return identification, health diagnosis, and care information.
• Scan history. Your past scans and their results are stored locally on your device. We do not upload or retain your scan history on our servers.
• Basic technical data. Like most online services, our servers may log standard request information (such as timestamps and error diagnostics) to keep the service reliable and secure.

The App does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, address, phone number, or other directly identifying personal information.

2. How We Use Information

• To identify plants and detect diseases or pests from the photos you submit.
• To generate treatment recommendations, care guides, and environmental information.
• To operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the App.

3. AI & Third-Party Processing

Plant photos you submit are processed by a third-party AI provider (OpenAI) to perform image analysis. Images are transmitted for the purpose of returning your results. We do not use your photos to advertise to you, and we do not sell your information. Your use of the App is also subject to the relevant provider's policies.

4. Data Retention

Photos are processed to generate your results and are not retained by us for long-term storage. Your scan history remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. You can remove locally stored data at any time by clearing it within the App or uninstalling the App.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can address it.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information transmitted through the App. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices

• You control which photos you submit for analysis.
• You can delete your locally stored scan history at any time.
• You can stop all data processing by uninstalling the App.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
